Are you looking for an exciting career opportunity? We are seeking a skilled and highly motivated Medical Equipment Technical Service Engineer to join our dynamic technical team on a full-time basis. Reporting directly to the COO, the successful candidate will primarily be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting a variety of medical equipment, ensuring they operate efficiently and safely.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • To install, commission, service and maintain medical equipment sold by the company within Malta and Gozo;
  • To attend the necessary service training courses, both locally and abroad in order to fulfil the necessary technical support to service and maintain equipment;
  • To perform the necessary periodic preventative maintenance programs on the equipment, as recommended by the manufacturers;
  • To maintain up to date records of preventative and corrective service maintenance performed on equipment in operation;
  • To manage spare parts inventory to respond to planned preventative maintenance schedules and corrective maintenance interventions;
  • To be available to respond to service calls outside working hours.

Requirements

  • Diploma or higher qualification in Engineering, Technical IT, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in servicing equipment. Candidates with previous experience in the installation and maintenance of medical equipment will be given preference.
  • Problem-solving skills and a positive can-do approach.
  • Ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision.
  • Flexible and eager to learn new technologies and / or processes.

 

  • In possession of a valid driving license.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
