We are seeking a Healthcare Information Technology Executive to lead our technology strategy and drive our client-facing digital transformation journey. This pivotal role sits at the intersection of patient strategy, regulatory compliance, and business growth, ensuring that technology acts as both an enabler and a safeguard within healthcare.
As a strategic leader with hands-on execution, you will bring strong expertise in healthcare IT systems, data governance, and regulatory frameworks, while also guiding the implementation, optimization, and maintenance of IT infrastructure and installed base.
As a key member of our team, you will champion the adoption of innovative digital health solutions that empower our people, strengthen operations, and deliver greater value to patients, partners, and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support customers across the full sales cycle, including solution design, initial engagement, product demonstrations, integration, application, post-sale follow-up, and maintenance.
- Lead digital healthcare projects, driving innovation through technology adoption and strategic partnerships.
- Together with the Business Development and Sales Teams, develop and implement IT and digital health strategies aligned with business objectives, regulatory requirements, and clinical priorities.
- Oversee IT systems, infrastructure, and healthcare applications to ensure scalability, security, and clinical relevance.
- Safeguard sensitive patient and healthcare data, ensuring compliance with GDPR, MDR/IVDR, ISO standards, and other frameworks.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers, regulators, stakeholders, and in-house teams to deliver compliant and effective IT solutions.
- Set up and maintain systems, network infrastructures, hospital information systems, and secure communication protocols.
- Apply knowledge of digital health ecosystems, electronic medical records, and interoperability standards to optimise efficiency and compliance.
- Plan, deliver, and oversee complex IT and healthcare projects on time, within scope, and aligned with strategic priorities.
- Lead and coordinate with internal teams, external vendors, and stakeholders to achieve successful project outcomes.
- Establish and maintain IT policies, business continuity frameworks, and disaster recovery plans to ensure uninterrupted healthcare services.
- Any other duties as may be assigned and agreed between the parties from time to time.
Requirements
- Hold a degree or higher qualification in Computer Science, Health Informatics, or a related discipline.
- Have a minimum of five years of experience in IT, ideally within healthcare or life sciences.
- Demonstrate expertise in IT core infrastructure, with proven experience in the implementation and integration of networks and systems (PACS, HIS, EMR), and a strong command of DICOM and HL7 standards.
- Possess a valid driver’s licence, ensuring flexibility to meet business and client needs.
- Display a goal-oriented, self-motivated mindset with a positive, can-do attitude.
- Communicate effectively with strong interpersonal skills, building trust and collaboration across teams and stakeholders.
- Thrive both independently and within a team environment, showing adaptability and accountability.
- Be flexible and keen to stay abreast of emerging digital healthcare technologies.
